Middle Earth

Having been to New Zealand's most northerly point and most southerly point, it seems only fitting that we would end up in the middle.



We have low expectations for the town of Nelson, but it surprises us. Quaint and clean with a small town feel, we are won over.





We walk the town centre, visit a few art galleries and book shops and then hike the hill to middle earth — the geographical centre of New Zealand!
