Along the narrow path, he encounters a large troll blocking his way and forcing him to take the high road...
He meets kindly elves who show him the trail.
He walks through the enchanted forest.
Past knee high toadstools.
Until he reaches the other side of the hill and spectacular views of Admiralty Sound.
Spying a deserted beach below, he assumes it is the magical cove he seeks and makes his way along the road.
Through the dark woods.
And onto the beach.
He spies around the corner on the mussel farms.
Scouring the sand, he is rewarded with treasure — fine pieces of argillite washed ashore from D'Urville Island, the hard but light mudstone substance from which the Maori would form their cutting tools.
Heading back along the road, the sun comes out and shines down on the cove and sound.
The troll guards a different part of the track, making passing a bit tricky.
Keirdo arrives home and presents his treasure to the waiting maiden who, in gratitude, cooks him blue cod for his tea.
The End. (Take that, Peter Jackson!)
Well I think more like Weirdo not Keirdo. haha :)
